VistaPoint Console Companion

iQ’s Attendant Console Software is the perfect solution for Operators, Executive Assistants, Department Secretaries, and Receptionists professional call coverage for their organization.

The Windows-based Console enables a receptionist to handle high call volumes efficiently by providing real-time presence information about every phone. A Busy Lamp Field (BLF) provides users with the current status of every phone on the 3Com system. A telephony call control toolbar within Outlook makes it easy to place calls, transfer, conference, and perform a variety of other call control functions from within Outlook. VistaPoint Enterprise Directory

The Enterprise Directory package offers a browser-based LDAP compliant directory service that works in conjunction with Microsoft's Active Directory and delivers presence information along with point and click call control to the desktop, allowing users to make informed choices about how, when, and where to locate and communicate with coworkers. The Enterprise Directory also ships with a complimentary Deskbar that provides users with a quick and easy way to look up a name in the company’s Active Directory and instantly dial their extension. TAPI Gateway for Applications

VistaTSP is fully TAPI (Telephony Application Program Interface) compliant. This VistaPoint Enterprise add-in makes it possible for TAPI-based applications running on the desktop to communicate with the organization’s phone system through a single CTI connection regardless of the protocol supported (CSTA, TAPI, TSAPI, SIP or Proprietary). Our VistaPoint Proxy Server supports 600 TAPI-based applications reducing the total number of CTI connections to one. This improves the overall performance of the telephony system by off-loading the support of hundreds of individual TAPI connections.


Note Regarding Privacy – iQ’s presence technology includes a presence policy manager that provides administrators with the ability to restrict and limit who sees whom. This not only protects the privacy of certain individuals but also makes it deployable in tenanting applications where multiple companies are to_topsharing a IP Telephony system such as Executive Suites or tenant-based installations.
