VistaPoint Enterprise Installation Checklist
3COMVCX running v7.1.7 or greater

Although we have developed a SIM for the NBX Communications Platform iQ has stopped technical support for this platform due to the development & limitations of the NBX TSP.
 

Important Notes

As this platform evolves features and enhancements are being added, if you wish to get the most out of your software experience it is recommended that the VCX be at version 7.1.14c and the VistaPoint for 3COM be at version 4.0.0.77.3com

Note: Currently the VCX SoftPhone is not compatible with VistaPoint Enterprise (3com engineering is aware of this problem and will address it in the future)

3COM VCX Integration Checklist to_top

  • Add the VistaPoint Server IP address as a trusted endpoint in the VCX
  • Phones can only be registered in one location at a time, registering a phone in multiple places will create problems

Software Required

You will need the following 3COMsupplied software:

  • PBX Version v7.1.7 or greater (recommended 7.1.14c )

You will need the following VistaPoint software;

  • One VistaPoint VCX™ SIM license to provide coverage for the entire PBX cluster
  • One VistaPoint client license for every connected application (concurrent licensing scheme)
  • VistaPoint Server software (downloaded from FTP server)
  • VistaPoint Client software (downloaded from FTP server)

Hardware Required

  • VCX™ v7.1.7 (+) Server (for best results you should be at least version 7.1.14c)
  • PC to run VistaPoint Enterprise Server to_top
